Celtic Fyre

March 12, 2010

Hey everyone. We’re rolling along getting ready for opening, and this week has been all about our newest show, Celtic Fyre. We’ve been loading in the set and it looks fantastic. It really transforms the Abbey Stone Theatre into something completely different than what you’ve seen here before.
Check out the video to get a behind the scenes look.

Our dancers, musicians, and singers have arrived and we are hard at work rehearsing. Celtic Fyre takes place in a tavern and Inn and celebrates a day in the life of the Irish. Our Irish couple has just gotten married, and they’ve invited you to the reception. The show features live music, comedy, singing, and the magic of Irish dance in ways that you have never seen before.

You can expect a lot of audience participation. Sing along with us, make a toast and join in the celebration. I’ll share more soon, and offer some tidbits about our other shows as we prepare for opening day. See you then.

    Hi
I am very disapointed that the Emerald beat show is not coming back and i can tell you now that you have already lost so many guest because of it. I hope your new show goes OK for you guys and I hope that you dont run into any problems with it like not getting good crowds like the emerald beat show did
I know ill be going to see the new show the O Shea Irish Dance Company are bringing to America this summer
maybe you guys will change your mind about next year if you go see it

While I loved Emerald Beat, I can’t say I was ‘disappointed” that it was being replaced by a brand new show. Celtic Fyre is *wonderful* and my whole group felt that it is much more entertaining and more enjoyable than Emerald Beat ever was. Great Job, guys!

I always love the shows in Ireland! Irish Thunder was my favorite back in the day… or what, 3 years ago? Either way, I’m excited!
