Glory at the Gardens is on the Horizon

May 21, 2010

Busch Gardens’ annual Glory at the Gardens concert series is on the way with a lineup that’s sure to please everyone.

After the final Ramp Jam this Sunday, the half-pipe will come down, the stage will be placed and the transformation of Festhaus Park will begin. It takes some work to transform the park to accommodate bands, guests, food and beverage and merchandise. After the stage is set, sound boards need to be installed, food and beverage carts need to be moved, and the merchandise change out begins. Let’s just say, we have lots to do.

Planning on coming out this June? Here’s who you’ll see.

On June 6, Kierra Sheard and GRITS start the show for an amazing night of talent. The night will end on a great note as Kirk Franklin takes the stage.

June 13 is shaping up to be a wonderful show. Steven Curtis Chapman takes the stage on this particular Sunday, joined by Building 429 and Francesca Battistelli. You won’t want to miss this.

Starting out the night on June 20 are The Afters and Bluetree. But make sure to stick around as Switchfoot takes the stage to rock out into the night.

Our last weekend (but certainly not the least) features Third Day with special guests Britt Nicole and Jonny Diaz. Three definite crowd pleasers.

We’ve got some great acts lined up this June that are sure to be a hit. Remember, all of the concerts are free with paid admission so we can’t wait to see you in Festhaus Park this June.
