World’s Most Beautiful Skate Park?

May 3, 2010

World Champion inline skaters, skateboarders and BMX riders will take over Festhaus Park May 8-9, 15-16 and 22-23. This event is a must-see for all X Games fans and all of those who follow action sports.

A fourteen-foot tall ramp that spans 60 feet across will be placed where our concert stage is located during the summer months. Guests will be able to have a great view from the lawn as amazing athletes, such as six-time X Games gold medalist, Bucky Lasek, BMX world champion, Simon Tabron, and BMX High-Air world record holder, Kevin Robinson, perform their jaw-dropping stunts right before your eyes.

Bucky Lasek, famous for tricks such as the Switch Frontside 540 and the Heelflip Frontside Invert, will be headlining the first weekend. Did you know that he is the only skateboarder to do a 720 landing backward? This move, known as the “MacKenzie” sounds absolutely terrifying but thrilling at the same time.

Be sure to come out to Busch Gardens all three weekends, as these action packed shows are included with park admission. Not only will you be able to see some of the world’s best skateboarders, inline skaters and BMX riders, but you will be able to enjoy live music from local bands.

Check back for more Ramp Jam news, as I give you a sneak-peak of the ramp and share more fun information about these great athletes.
