Have you heard? Europe in the Air. Get it … You’re up in the air.

March 10, 2010

I don’t know if you’ve heard the news, but Busch Gardens is opening a new attraction in late spring. Our new attraction, Europe in the Air, will be a smooth gliding, simulator ride that soars over the sights of Europe. It uses a standard of video nearly seven times sharper than broadcast HD, and it’s replacing Corkscrew Hill.

Europe in the Air is geared toward families. It’ll be an experience like we’ve never offered before, gliding guests over Europe and exploring the sights along the way.
Imagine soaring over the Alps, exploring the Colosseum in Rome, flying by the Eifel Tower, almost touching Downtown London and many other great birds’-eye views of the European landscape. We are taking you on a journey that not many people get to see.

If you are the type of person who likes to travel but may not necessarily get a chance to see these sights, Europe in the Air may be a perfect opportunity for you. Our team is busy changing out film and programming the motion simulator to go along with it. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to make progress and work toward opening day. I’ll keep you posted on how things are going and will let you know exactly when you can expect to take flight.
